


CLASSES
B&G Fitness offers numerous fitness classes. From aerobics to zumba, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
BODY THRIVE: If you’re looking for a low impact class that will improve total body strength, flexibility and mobility, this is the class for you. A blend of yoga, tai chi, pilates and kettle bell exercises will give you a complete workout!
BUTTS & GUTS: Butts & Guts is a muscle conditioning class that targets your entire core and lower body with strengthening and toning exercises. This is a fun, high energy class that will help you start getting those hips, thighs, butts and abs in shape for summer!
YOGA: The YogaFit style taught at B & G is a hybrid style of Yoga that is designed for the fitness industry and is taught by a YogaFit trained instructor. Classes follow a format of warm-up, work, and cool down (relaxation) and are designed to include all levels of participation - from beginner to advanced. A non-competitive atmosphere of letting go of judgment and expectations of others and ourselves; creating a feeling of self-acceptance is sincerely represented. Yoga is practiced in bare feet, but you may want to have a pair of socks and/or a light sweater or jacket with you for the relaxation part of the class.
AEROBICS: Aerobics is a low impact class that includes cardiovascular, flexibility, and strength-training segments, which increase heart rate and promotes increased use of oxygen in order to improve overall body condition.
CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE! PILATES: If you want a smaller waistline, Pilates is for you! Pilates is a fitness routine that can help build muscle strength, endurance and flexibility in the abdominal, back, hips and legs. Emphasis is on developing a strong core or center, as well as improving coordination and balance. Pilates exercises can be adapted for all levels of fitness, with intensity increasing over time as the body adapts to the exercises.
CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE! ZUMBA: Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO". Zumba is a "feel-happy" workout that is great for both the body and the mind. Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE! BOOT CAMP: If you want to get healthier and help reshape your body join our boot camp class. Classes feature stretching, calisthenics, various types of runs, weight training and more! Plan to target all areas of your body and focus on any “trouble spots” you may have. We will teach you how to get healthy and stay fit in a fun group environment, regardless of your current fitness level. Everyone is invited and encouraged to join this class, just remember the more you whine the harder they push!
CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE! TOTAL BODY BLAST: A total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval based class combines full-body strength training, core and stability moves with bursts of cardio designed to help you burn calories and build muscle. Finish with a relaxing stretch for a total body workout!
